This week’s poll question is about free personal care to under 65’s.

The Scottish Government Programme for Government (published September 2016) made a commitment to produce a feasibility study into extending free personal and nursing care to the under 65’s with dementia.

Following the Members’ Debate on December 6, 2016, the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport noted that everyone with life-changing conditions should receive the care and support that they need.  The feasibility study will therefore take a wider look at the general issue of charging for personal care for people under 65.

Our question this week is:

Do you think personal and nursing care should be free for disabled people under the age of 65?
